Product

Product Updates: Jul 24 - Aug 6

USD.AI shipped dashboard, loan, CHIP, borrower, and reliability updates for a clearer, faster, and more accurate app experience.

August 12, 2026

Product Updates: Jul 24 - Aug 6

From July 24 to August 6, 2026, USD.AI introduced upgrades across the dashboard, borrowing experience, CHIP flows, and app infrastructure, bringing clearer portfolio data, more accurate loan information, smoother claims and withdrawals, and a more reliable app.

Dashboard

Yield data is clearer and more accurate

  • Top-level portfolio metrics now use the refreshed design and are easier to scan.
  • Cumulative yield always shows cents and uses consistent number spacing, so values no longer jump around as they update.

  • On mobile, tapping the info icon now opens the full metrics card.
  • The yield breakdown now matches the APY calculated by the backend and clearly compares net APY with gross APY.

Yield Composition chart updates

  • The “Yield Composition” chart now labels PYUSD directly instead of using the generic “stablecoins” label, making the yield source clearer.
  • In the Total Deployed tab, APR now reflects what escrowed funds are currently earning, not the expected APR after those funds are released.

Faster, more reliable dashboard loading

  • Historical data is downsampled, reducing the amount of data the dashboard needs to load.
  • Removed an unnecessary 8.5 MB cached payload and restored automatic dashboard regeneration, helping users see fresher data more reliably.

Clearer loan-level data

loans.gif

  • The loans table now includes Original Amount, so you can quickly compare the amount borrowed with the current position.
  • Loan labels and layouts have been cleaned up for easier scanning.
  • Term and maturity date now reflect the actual status of each loan.
  • Hardware-backed collateral now displays the real number of hardware units, not the number of collateral NFTs representing them.
  • APR and interest-rate information is now consistent across the loans table, position drawer, and map.

CHIP claims and withdrawals

  • Post-maturity withdrawals were briefly paused while expiry handling was fixed, then safely re-enabled.
  • The Vault tab now identifies pending claims correctly.
  • Refunds are now shown as Total Amount Refunded in USDC, using a rate of $0.03 per CHIP.

Borrower-side reliability

  • The borrow app now recognizes interest-rate models used across different deployment versions.
  • If a rate-model address is malformed, the app fails safely instead of breaking the flow.
  • Quarantined reserve balances are cleared before repayment, reducing the chance of repayment issues.
  • Admin access checks now come directly from the backend.

Reliability and app polish

  • Backend requests now retry automatically during temporary rate-limit spikes.
  • Unexpected backend error responses no longer break the app's error handling.
  • Live blockchain reads now refresh against the correct network.
  • Optional local-network settings were added for development and testing.
  • The account menu and icons have been refreshed.
  • Mobile spacing across the app shell, header, and buttons has been tightened.
  • Yield values now use consistent decimal formatting in the sidebar and mobile views.
