Upgrade for Loan Router and Timelock

Upgraded Loan Router and Timelock for Institutional-Scale GPU Financing

December 9, 2025

Upgrade for Loan Router and Timelock

We’ve just deployed a new contract for GPU borrowing.

If you’ve been watching our contracts onchain you might have noticed our Loan Router and Deposit Timelock system got an upgrade.

Loan Router creates and manages each loan. It records terms, executes funding, and processes repayments.

Deposit Timelock escrows lender capital for a specific transaction. It confirms that funding is available when origination occurs.

Together, these contracts provide borrowers with a foundation for GPU financing and other infrastructure-backed credit.

Loan Router Update

Here’s what’s updated with Loan Router:

  • Single execution environment for all loans.
  • Fixed lender sets and structured tranches.
  • Multiple repayment windows and floating-rate structures.
  • Origination fees are assessed programmatically.
  • Repayments are distributed directly to lender addresses/contracts.
  • FiLo tranches can be represented as an NFT, which enables transferability.
  • Includes an English auction fee mechanism for defaults.
  • Reduces gas consumption relative to prior workflows.

Overall these updates to Loan Router are significant for borrowing operations. The protocol is now highly customizable, enabling more exotic loan types and interest rate structures. For example, with the new contracts a loan could receive floating interest rates at SOFR + X% or structure multiple risk tranches. Most importantly, the new contracts ensure that the fees collected are controllable programmatically with the soon-to-be-launched governance token.

Timelock Updates

The new Timelock delivers several updates that reinforce the predictability and security of pre-funded capital:

  • Provides deterministic pre-funding for each loan.
  • Lenders commit capital to the Timelock, and the funds remain reserved until origination.
  • Ensures predictable access to capital for large GPU and datacenter deployments.
  • The Timelock preserves the native yield of assets such as wM while capital is staged.
  • Improves auditability because lender commitments are recorded before any loan begins.

Conclusion

Overall, the updated Loan Router and Deposit Timelock establish a more standardized and reliable framework for USD.AI’s GPU-backed loans and broader AI infrastructure financing. Borrowers can expect consistent execution and confirmed capital readiness across all transactions.
